Vegan, low-sugar, low-carb, gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based, keto-friendly, nut-free option
Me every time I put chocolate hazelnut butter in to a new smoothie bowl recipe: 'This is the best smoothie bowl I've made to date.'
Ingredients
Base:
2 cups frozen cherries
1 cup frozen avocado
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 heaping tablespoon of chocolate hazelnut butter*
6 oat milk cubes (milk frozen in ice cube tray)
Plant-based milk to thin (I used oat milk)
Optional: 1 tbsp monk fruit sugar if you like it sweet like me!
Toppings:
Fresh berries
Hemp seeds
Chocolate pieces (I used dairy-free, sugar-free Lily's Dark Chocolate Almond Bar)
Chocolate hazelnut butter*
Instructions
Blend all base ingredients together until smooth
Serve in your Maria Bowl, top with optional toppings and enjoy immediately!
Psst... if your smoothie bowl melts, you can just use a bamboo straw
*Can sub in any nut or seed butter here
